This personal descriptive essay describes an Arabian student's friend names Tariq. IT is best suited for an introductory class or an ESL class. Tariq didn't appear to be anything special on the surface. He was short and too heavy. He had a shock of curly hair and it seemed that he was breaking out in acne before everything else. I looked at him and sometimes I wanted to laugh, but I got to know him so well that his physical appearance really did not mean anything and I was very glad to have him as a friend.
