Founded in 1974, the womens center helps millions of women cope with various problems that these women try and adjust to each and every day. The problems range from poverty to abuse. However, the largest of the problems that women face within the community are abuse from domestic violence, sexual abuse (also frequently part of spousal abuse), and divorce (which must be impending given the suffering of abuse). Overall, The Womens Center is a place that helps offset the balance of this abuse and they do so without regards for a womans ability to financially compensate the Center for its efforts.
