How the Internet and E-commerce have changed the traditional sales/marketing paradigm.
This study will take a careful look at the evolution of the Internet and the emergence of e-commerce as the new paradigm for linking businesses to their customers. Towards this end, a brief outline of the development of the Internet, where it stands at present, and what we might expect from it in the future, will be given. Armed with this knowledge, a more detailed analysis of how e-businesses are interfacing with their clients will be given. In the end, the reader will have a good understanding of how businesses have had to shift their sales/marketing strategies as a result of the Internet and the direction that the future is likely to take. 12 pgs. 15 f/c. 8b.
