This paper will discuss the "The Protestant Ethic" by Max Weber and the "Spirit of Capitalism" by Max Weber and seek the meaning behind these studies on the nature of capitalism that had risen through the medium of Christianity-mainly Protestant. By using excerpts from the books by Weber, we can see how the Church influenced the rise of capitalism, through the lower classes, and was created though these influential writings. 3 pgs.
