This assignment requires the student to answer two essay questions based on class readings. One question was regarding gender in Marx's writing. Considerations of gender are largely absent; at best, the role of women is generalized into that of the 'family', a sort of adjunct to 'man'. The other question deals with Mead's theories regarding the self and other.
