This paper encompasses a discussion regarding the history of adolescent psychology. Views and tenets on psychology from thinkers like Plato to Erik Erickson are presented. Similarities and differences in the views of adolescence throughout history will be examined and discussed as well as psychological theories pertaining specifically to adolescents.
