This paper will focus on a study relating to tobacco use, based on data-based articles published in a nursing journal during the 1952 to 2000 period. The paper will summarize the findings of the study and will evaluate and critique it. Attention will also be given to the conclusions drawn, as well as the need to consider further research in the prevention of tobacco use.
