Comparison of Peplau's nursing theory and Selye's stress theory
This paper analyzes a specific patient problem and the effort to address it using a combination of Peplau's nursing theory and Selye's stress theory, noting that it is clearly desirable to develop an efficacious educational program to change or at least alter this self-defeating cycle followed by many patients who try to self-treat with drugs or alcohol.
