This paper shall discuss and examine the strengths of weaknesses of cognitive behavioural learning theory as a method for treating patients and affecting responses in patients to environmental stimuli. Particularly, this paper is most interested in the personal reaction of the author to the theory and will employ personal experiences and anecdotes as rationale for my own reactions to this theory.
