We are all aware of the fact that millions of Americans have died during the course of our nations history at least in some measure to protect our right to vote. So why is it that we cannot bestir ourselves to go to the polls once a year or so or even to mail in an absentee ballot? This paper examines the reasons why voters and New Jersey voters in particular do not vote in greater numbers.
