Is the Practice of International Relations "Realist"
This eight page undergraduate paper examines whether the practice of international relations is realist. The author notes that the emergence of a world economy, the development of a global culture, the rise of new non-state social movements, and the expansion of instant communications have transformed the international community in this age of globalization. World politics is not what it used to be, and many of the theories which sought to explain the old Cold War world are no longer relevant.
