Traplines by Eden Robinson is the story of the horror of one boys life. Will is a working class boy with alcoholic parents. His parents are drunk nearly all the time and do not take care of him. His education is not going well, because all of his friends are under-achievers, and Will is starting to follow their example. There are many drugs all around him, and it seems that soon he might start using drugs. Some of his friends have already started taking drugs.
