This paper discusses the indignities that female low-wage workers encounter on the job. This paper exposes the ways that minimum wage female employees are vulnerable to sexual harassment, hunger, homelessness and other injustices. Using Ehrenreich's Nickel and Dimed, this paper looks at larger economic trends that contribute to this problem. From the perspective of a social worker, this paper seeks to find solutions.
