Feminism and Gender Roles: An Annotated Bibliography
In the following bibliography, I lay out a number of resources for studying gender roles through a feminist lens. I include several works on men and maleness, on androgyny, and on gender transformations or transgressions. I have divided the bibliography into two groups: work that is based on the basic assumption of a dual-gender system with minor variations, and work that is non-essentializing.
