An Analysis of the Sacrament of Marriage in the Film Moonstruck
This paper will analyze the sacrament of marriage in the film Moonstruck. By understanding how Ronny and Loretta defy their family tradition of forced marriages by enacting a sexual liason, we find they hold more true to the tenants of Christianity, as well as to the sacrament of marrriage in their relationship. In this way, Moonstruck correctly portays true love, as created by these two characters.
