This paper will discuss the movie "North by Northwest" by Alfred Hitchcock, and seek to understand the 'psycho' element that is within the story line. The different psychological points that the movie makes, can certainly point to the ideas that Hitchcock was planning in this film. By understanding these psychotic elements, which take place in many of his movies, we can see why he ha crated this theme in this movie.
