A Historic Analysis of the Movie Spartacus by Stanley Kubrick.
This paper will discuss the movie Spartacus and begin to seek the historical inaccuracies, as well as the accuracies, on the war of slavery within the southern Roman provinces. This analysis will tell us what historical proofs reveal what was truly history and how it was done, by historians through understanding of the documents found within the Roman period of the first century A.D. By revealing the way that opinions differ, from sources that were around in the time of Spartacus, and the way that Stanley Kubrick interprets the history, we can see how movies do not always reflect the way that history was, but can gives an entertaining perspective on this event. 11 pgs.
