Thoughts on Including Students with Disabilities in Accountability-Based Standardized Assessments
This paper shall examine the question of whether or not students who have disabilities should be held to the same standards as students without disabilities. Specifically, the paper will discuss the role that accountability-based standardized assessments should play in evaluating the abilities and needs of students with disabilities. Additionally, some other means of evaluation will be suggested.
