The effects of a parent reading intervention on the phonological awareness skills of kindergarten students
This paper provides the first two chapters (Introduction and Literature Review) for a thesis on effective literacy training for students in preschool and kindergarten. The literature review focuses on the impact which phonological awareness and phonics training have on the development of literacy, as well as the sociocultural impact which parents have upon the student's literacy rates.
