This paper shall examine the research study published in 1988 titled Reducing Teacher Stress by Bertoch, Nielsen, Curley, and Borg. The purpose of that essay was to experimentally demonstrate that a holistic method of stress management would be most effective in reducing teacher stress. The purpose and conclusion of this paper is to illustrate through critique that the authors of that study did a capable, if brief, job of proving that teacher stress can be reduced by approaching the problem in a holistic manner.
