Learning and Time: A Brief Consideration of the Mastery Learning Model in Theory and Practice
This 6-page postgraduate paper considers the mastery learning (ML) model used in educational theory and practice. This paper provides an overview of the topic, including an introductory statement about the mastery learning model and a brief explanation regarding where the model is utilized today. Further, this paper provides an examination of the ideas of Benjamin Bloom and John B. Carroll, two theorists associated with the mastery learning model. This paper also provides an examination of the steps involved in the model and the ways the model is used.
