This twenty three-page graduate paper analyzes police corruption. The problem of police misconduct is a serious and persistent one. Dishonest police officers harm society by not only usurping its valuable resources, but also by leaving the public unprotected from crime. When the law enforcement officers turn into criminals, there are forces set up to fight them. The Knapp and Mollen Commission were such forces, but are now disbanded. 23 pgs.
