This essay discusses Anais Nin and Mark Salzman's view of writing. Both saw writing as a catharsis of different forms. Nin believed writing served as an excellent vehicle of self-exploration, while Salzman saw it as an opportunity to dream of certain fantasies that might not be achievable in the real world. 3 pgs.
