This essay explores the inequality of income and wealth in Canadian society from a Conflict perspective. The growing gap between the poor and the most affluent in our society leads to greater crime and health problems for the less fortunate. Current attempts by the provincial and federal governments to resolve problems in the health and education sectors have only served to emphasize the existing conflict.
