Case Study Analysis: The Impact of Tourism on St. Jacob's, Ontario.
This study will examine the players, the issues, and the processes in the St. Jacobs case. The history and the broader social implications of the planning process in the town will be outlined. Finally, I will suggest how I would have approached the St. Jacobs tourist planning case differently. It will be argued that negative outcomes as occurred in the St. Jacobs' case are not inevitable and that, through the application of appropriate planning processes, a win-win situation for town and industry can be achieved. 13 pgs.
