This paper answers a case study regarding an employee who is moonlighting while working for a computer software company, with the problem being a managerial issue at heart, being how to respond to the fact that a valued employee is moonlighting and is using company equipment to pursue this outside interest in a case that involves both the fact of employee moonlighting and the reaction to it of one manager, leading to a consideration of the greater issue by all the managers in the company in order to develop a viable policy.
