Managing people sensibly is not only a matter of common sense. The manager's knowledge of theory and research on individual differences, motivation, teamwork, and leadership can become an important asset for improving his personal career and success of the organization. Organizational Behavior is an interdisciplinary field of study and practice that probe the impact of individuals, groups, structure and environment on behavior inside organizations. The main concern of Organizational Behavior is with people, what they do and how their behavior affects individual, group and organizational performance. The goal is enhanced organizational effectiveness.
