This paper answers the fears many businesspeople have about involving their firm in electronic fund transactions. The business world has long known that credit cards and electronic fund transfers in general avoid the 'paper trail' so commonly a factor in check fraud crimes, making it safer for consumers and businesses. However, many financial and business analysts question whether anything beyond the credit card/check model is necessary.
