Entrepreneurial Business and Management Strategies in China: Assessing the Impact of Globalization and Information Technologies on the

The study of entrepreneurial business strategies in China can be examined along either a massive cultural front, where all elements found within Chinese history and society have an impact on the current management and business strategies, or through investigating the impact of smaller influential forces. This paper focuses on investigating the significance of smaller forces in order to assess the current management and business strategies in China. As the forces of globalization and information technologies have proven fundamental in shaping modern entrepreneurial business strategies in China, these forces can therefore be readily examined apart from the whole of Chinese culture. Through examining the impact of globalization and information technologies, it can be readily determined that Chinese business strategies have embraced both elements - both independent from the other as well as in conjunction with each other - and that the move to incorporate these forces has had an impact on business and management strategies in the Chinese workplace environment. 40 pgs.
