All businesspeople want to succeed. But the question of what constitutes success in business is most certainly not universally accepted: Business success is very much defined by the culture in which one is doing business. When two people from the same culture come together to do business with each other there is thus an underlying sameness in the sets of assumptions that each person brings to the table as well as (in general) a sense of what the rules are for doing business.
