This undergraduate paper discusses the critical issues and factors, which are to be studied closely in order to formulate a successful market entry strategy. If we want to capture the Vietnamese tobacco market, it is important to first study all the economic, legal and social factors, which can affect the success of the product in the long run. The country is undergoing economic change and its social conditions have changed significantly which can prove favorable to new entrants provided the new company enters the market with a sound strategy. 16 pgs.
