This paper is a discussion about Abbot Sugar and the Aesthetics of stained glass. The focus of the paper is on gothic stained glass aesthetics-Abbot Sugar. The paper is presented in a historiographical format. Theological sources are examined from the Neo-Platonism era forward. Opinions and arguments from writers are presented and examined in the discussion along with the idea of large windows.
