This paper considers four separate eras in United States history individually. These eras are 1607 to 1763, 1860 to 1900, 1920 to 1932, and 1932 to 1945. For each of the listed eras in history, five points are considered: major political developments, dominant social issues, significant technological or economic changes, major diplomatic or foreign affairs issues, and finally two personalities of the era who aptly symbolize those times.
